Blair Northen Williamson is an award-winning children's author, national school speaker, and lifelong ocean explorer. Before writing books, she worked as a scuba diving instructor and yacht captain — guiding crews across international waters and beneath coral reefs. Those years shaped the vivid, heart-filled stories she now writes for children.
She is the author of The Ocean Protectors: Colors of the Coral Reef, Island Girls: Free the Sea of Plastic, and Birthday Bash, with a fourth title forthcoming from Simon & Schuster in 2028. Her books have earned the Book Excellence Award, Best Picture Book of 2025, and Amazon #1 New Release recognition.
Blair believes stories can spark laughter, open meaningful conversations, and inspire young readers to protect our planet — especially our oceans. She coaches authors through Saltcraft Editorial.
